Which Britax Convertible Car Seat Is Best For Rear-facing?
Ok, i have narrowed down the staggering number of convertible car seats to britax. they have the marathon, boulevard, advocate, roundabout... it 's crazy. they all seem the same to me. a little info- my daughter is 1 year old, about 22 lbs, 24 inches (she was a preemie). i plan on keeping her rear-facing as long as possible, and would like to only buy this one car seat rather than a new one every time she gains 5 lbs. we have been using the graco snugride and she has probably just a few weeks until she 's maxed it out. any thougths on britax? what size vehicle do you have or need in order for it to fit rear-facing? we 're probably going to purchase a chevy equinox (right now, i have a 2 door blazer, so can 't really use a convertible seat with it!). thanks! I ordered the britax marathon cowmooflauge seat for my two daughters and i notice that on the cream velvet there are light yellow green streaks. it kind if looks like light grass stains and it is all over both seats. i know velvet does have streaks in but i never saw it like that. does yours have this????? Hello, i have a 6 month old daughter who weighs 12 lb 4 oz.. we currently have a chico ketfit 30 that (which i love) is supposed to last until she is 30 pounds. i know she is still too small to have to move up to the next, but i am thinking into the future. when did your child move from an infant carseat to a convertable one? my daughter has absolutely everything she may need and i was thinking of giving her a carseat for christmas. i am looking at the britax marathon 70 convertible car seat which is everywhere for about $280, but i found it for 224 not tax free 1 day shipping. is this a good deal and should i get it now, or should i wait till she needs to move over to the next carseat up. this could possibly not be untill she is a year old in may. anyone with this carseat? any input would be greatly appreciated. i really just dont want to miss out on this deal if i may not get it again. it 's a cyber week thing.i just have to comment on christy 's questions and say that in completely dissagree witht he fact that all carseats are the same, sure they have to meet certain standards but i have noticed a difference in my daughter 's chicco vs. her cousins gracco, the chicco is solid the gracco is flimsy and moves all over the place in the base in the car fastened as tight as possible. so i just have to comment on that! alos factors like ease of use and confort are a big deal to me.sorry responded to that last detail in a hurry and my spelling is all over the place! Anyone Who Knows About Britax B Ready, City Mini, And City Select Strollers?
Hi! im debating between three different strollers and i would like opinions from people that own them which is the best. i have noticed they all have pretty good reviews and are around the same price range with accessories.the first is the baby jogger city select i like how this stroller lets both babies see when they get older because the back seat is higher then the front seat.second is the britax b ready, this is nice but can the child on the bottom see forward at all or just out the sides and is it easy to walk with from the videos it doesnt look like it...?third is the baby jogger city mini. i like this because it is side by side and both babies would be able to see and it fits through standard doorways, but i will have a one year old and a newborn so i will be using this stroller at first with a carseat does that get in the way of the child sitting in the other seat?thank you i appreciate any opinions :) (Read answers)

Replacing Harness Straps On Britax Boulevard 70 Cs?
We have a britax boulevard 70 cs, manufactured in june, 2010. my husband took the cover off to be washed and removed the harness straps all the way, not just the part that goes around the shoulders, but the part that hooks between the legs. he was in such a rush to get the cover off to be cleaned that he didn 't pay close enough attention as to how he was taking the cover off. i have called britax, watched a video, and i still cannot figure out how to replace the lower parts of the harness straps. each side at the bottom of the harness strap has a black, rectangular "buckle " that hooks, but i am just not sure how to thread the bottom harness straps through the car seat. can someone please help me out? thank you! I 've done all the research, britax is best. have twins that are 7 months old. i 'm going to buy the boulevard 70s for them but am just wondering.....have you really used them up to 70 lbs or have your children grown out of them (height wise)? i have a feeling my twins are going to be really tall and am just wondering. can a big 6 year old really fit into this carseat? or did you switch to a booster for comfort. Crotch Strap In Britax Car Seats?
Alright, we have a britax decathlon, which has 3 slots for the crotch belt but you can 't use the third slot for rear facing. once they are 'sitting on the strap ' then you 're supposed to move the crotch belt, but that happened with my daughter at about 2 years old, so we moved her into the graco my-ride to keep her rear-facing. my son was going to ride in the decathlon, he 's 10 months old, but already that crotch strap would have to be sat on (he 's about as thick as she is now...) i want him to rear-face as long as possible, and we are ready to buy another car seat to make sure of that, but i want one with a proper crotch strap. can anyone give any recommendations besides just getting another my-ride? we had planned on trying a radian xtsl but from what i 'm reading their crotch straps are not that long either, and since there 's no place you can try them out i 'm hesitant to get something that might not work. I need a really good waterproof pad that will fit my son 's britax boulevard cs. he 's potty training and i 'm going to start doing nothing but undies out of the house and expect there will eventually be accidents. so i need a really good waterproof pad that will fully protect the seat. i 've read reviews of some and people say they leak right through?thanks!sitting on a plastic bag over a towel sounds uncomfortable lol... perhaps something a bit more compact?if i knew how to sew i would make myself a pul carseat cover.foi, making a kid uncomfortable on purpose and telling them " be forced to sit on that uncomfortable mass or just hold your pee " isn 't a very good potty training technique. he doesn 't have accidents but i 'm sure it will happen at one point or another and the cover is a "just incase " until i know he 's fully got it down. he 's only been actively training for a couple of months now and he 's 19 months old. he 's 100% potty trained and accident free in the home, but i have never really tried it out of the house and don 't know what to expect yet. so i 'm just expecting it 's possible he 'll have an accident and i would hate to have to un-do the entire car seat to wash it. britax isn 't the easiest seat to take apart. i 'm looking for something soft and thin that will work. so far the bag placed under the cover is sounding like the best option. Britax Or Radian For A 12 Month Old?

Britax Frontier 85 Vrs Radian Xt?
Because of financial issues i won 't be able to purchase a bigger car. i am expecting my third child in october.. i have a 4 yr old son and a 2 yr old daughter.. i also have a small dodge caliber, so my question is which car seat is the smallest width wise? i would need to buy 3 and fit them in my car.. 2 front facing and one rear facing of course for the baby i wouldn 't buy the britax frontier 85 because i would need a convertible.. please help or if you found another brand of car seats to fit 3 across please let me know..i really appreciate it!! Have Your Kids Outgrown Britax Before 70 Lbs?
I 've done all the research, britax is best. have twins that are 7 months old. i 'm going to buy the boulevard 70s for them but am just wondering.....have you really used them up to 70 lbs or have your children grown out of them (height wise)? i have a feeling my twins are going to be really tall and am just wondering. can a big 6 year old really fit into this carseat? or did you switch to a booster for comfort. Crotch Strap In Britax Car Seats?
Alright, we have a britax decathlon, which has 3 slots for the crotch belt but you can 't use the third slot for rear facing. once they are 'sitting on the strap ' then you 're supposed to move the crotch belt, but that happened with my daughter at about 2 years old, so we moved her into the graco my-ride to keep her rear-facing. my son was going to ride in the decathlon, he 's 10 months old, but already that crotch strap would have to be sat on (he 's about as thick as she is now...) i want him to rear-face as long as possible, and we are ready to buy another car seat to make sure of that, but i want one with a proper crotch strap. can anyone give any recommendations besides just getting another my-ride? we had planned on trying a radian xtsl but from what i 'm reading their crotch straps are not that long either, and since there 's no place you can try them out i 'm hesitant to get something that might not work. Waterproof Pad For Britax Carseat (potty Training)?
I need a really good waterproof pad that will fit my son 's britax boulevard cs. he 's potty training and i 'm going to start doing nothing but undies out of the house and expect there will eventually be accidents. so i need a really good waterproof pad that will fully protect the seat. i 've read reviews of some and people say they leak right through?thanks!sitting on a plastic bag over a towel sounds uncomfortable lol... perhaps something a bit more compact?if i knew how to sew i would make myself a pul carseat cover.foi, making a kid uncomfortable on purpose and telling them " be forced to sit on that uncomfortable mass or just hold your pee " isn 't a very good potty training technique. he doesn 't have accidents but i 'm sure it will happen at one point or another and the cover is a "just incase " until i know he 's fully got it down. he 's only been actively training for a couple of months now and he 's 19 months old. he 's 100% potty trained and accident free in the home, but i have never really tried it out of the house and don 't know what to expect yet. so i 'm just expecting it 's possible he 'll have an accident and i would hate to have to un-do the entire car seat to wash it. britax isn 't the easiest seat to take apart. i 'm looking for something soft and thin that will work. so far the bag placed under the cover is sounding like the best option.
